1. About PickleMap

PickleMap is a UK pickleball discovery, membership and booking platform. It helps players find clubs and venues and, where enabled by a club, request membership, book sessions, join waitlists, add guests and make payments.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure and use PickleMap lawfully. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless you tell us promptly that it has been compromised. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect players, clubs, payments or the platform.

3. Clubs and organisers

Clubs listed on PickleMap may be unclaimed directory listings or profiles controlled by verified organisers. A club organiser is responsible for the accuracy of information they publish, session availability, membership decisions, venue arrangements, safeguarding requirements and delivery of the pickleball activity itself.

PickleMap provides the technology used to discover and book activity; unless a listing expressly says otherwise, PickleMap is not the organiser, venue operator or provider of the playing session.

4. Bookings and payments

A booking is not confirmed until PickleMap shows it as confirmed. A place may be temporarily held during checkout and can be released if payment is not completed in time. Prices and any PickleMap booking fee are shown before payment. Payments may be processed by Stripe and are also subject to the payment provider's applicable terms.

Where a player adds a guest, the account holder is responsible for the guest information supplied and for ensuring the guest understands any relevant club rules.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Each paid session can have its own cancellation and refund policy. The applicable policy and any cancellation deadline should be shown with the session or booking. Where a full session-price refund is available, a separately disclosed PickleMap booking or platform fee may be non-refundable unless the checkout, booking terms or applicable law says otherwise.

If a club cancels a session, the booking record will be updated and any refund due will be handled through the payment method and policy applicable to that booking. Bank and card processing times can affect when a refund appears.

Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK consumer law.

6. Memberships, events and club rules

Clubs decide whether to accept membership requests and may set eligibility, guest, attendance and playing-level requirements. Event organisers are responsible for event rules and eligibility. You must follow reasonable venue and organiser instructions when attending.

7. Directory information

Some club information is compiled from directory or publicly available information before a club claims its profile. We aim to keep listings useful, but unclaimed information may be incomplete or become outdated. Club representatives can use the claim process or contact support to request a correction.

8. Availability and acceptable use

We work to keep PickleMap available and secure but cannot promise uninterrupted service. You must not attempt to bypass booking limits, interfere with the service, scrape it at unreasonable volume, access another person's account or data, abuse club communications, or use the platform fraudulently.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful. Subject to that, PickleMap is not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent clubs, organisers, venues or other players, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable. You remain responsible for deciding whether a sporting activity is suitable for you and for following venue and organiser safety requirements.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as PickleMap develops. Material changes will be reflected by the date above and, where appropriate, communicated through the service. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales; mandatory consumer rights concerning jurisdiction are unaffected.
